There are carbs literally everywhere!
You can't escape them!
So when you run and hide with some of your favorite comfort foods, remember, they may be even worse for you than eating a whole bunch of white bread!
Fancy Coffee Drinks (Anything with a name like Mocha-Frappe-Latte-Carb-A-Chino is definitely not good for you. Stick with coffee and a little cream.)
Bagels (They're huge and basically just a face full of carbs.)
Juice and Smoothies (Smoothies and juice, even pure fruit juice, are just glasses of carbs and sugar. Sugar is carbs; carbs are sugar.)
Cheese and Crackers (Specifically the prepackaged kind that look like Dunk-a-Roos. The kind with the little red cheese spreader? Those are basically chemicals and carbs. No nutritional value there.)
Muffins (Due to inflation — muffin inflation — these sweet treats keep getting bigger. Remember your portion control.)
Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt (Lactose and sugar. Welcome to carb city. Population you and your expanding waistline.)
Movie Theater Popcorn (The portions are huge, tons of carbs, too much salt and if you put on that butter topping? You've eaten near a full day's worth of calories.)
Yogurt Covered Raisins (Raisins are good but are basically sugar already. Coat them in yogurt or chocolate? Would you like some carbs with your carbs?)
So use your judgement.
We're not saying to never eat or drink these things — just limit your portions.
It's all about portion control.
