In California, a lettuce grower has expanded their recall of bagged salads.
They started the recall after routine sampling detected listeria contamination.
Luckily no illnesses have been reported yet.
The voluntary recall was by River Ranch Fresh Foods of Salinas, and they initially had recalls in California and Colorado.
Now those recalls apply to the ENTIRE NATION.
The salads are sold under the names River Ranch, Farm Stand, Hy-Vee, Marketside, Shurfresh, The Farmer's Market, Cross Valley, Fresh n Easy, Promark, and Sysco.
The recalled bags have "best by" dates of May 12 to May 29.
Listeria infection causes high fever, headache and neck stiffness so watch out for those symptoms and check your salad!
Stay safe, y'all!
