An intrauterine device (IUD) or implant!
They're more effective than birth control pills, the patch and vaginal rings.
For young women, under 21, who use the pill, patches or vajay rings, they were almost twice as likely to get unintentionally pregnant.
The study focused on 7,500 women between 14 and 45.
The study's senior author said:
"This study is the best evidence we have that long-acting reversible methods are far superior to the birth control pill, patch and ring. [Intrauterine devices] and implants are more effective because women can forget about them after clinicians put the devices in place."
Also you don't have to constantly remember to do something, like take a pill or change a patch.
So c'mon ladies, go out there and get some IUDs!
