What a huge step for private space travel!
The SpaceX Dragon shuttle is scheduled to splash down today, in the Pacific Ocean.
The expected zone is 560 miles west of Baja California, Mexico, after the commercial supply ship makes its six hour descent!
This is great news for Nasa, who wants to be free of the job of making orbital deliveries so it can concentrate on sending astronauts to asteroids and Mars.
The shuttle is actually bringing back some stuff too: outdate equipment and some science experiments. Nothing too valuable, though, as this is its first trip!
Space X is planning to do manned missions within 5 years!
Science! Science! Science!
