Jackie Chan recently attended an event at a hospital in China.

He was there supporting the EEG x Orbis Flying Eye Hospital event in Hong Kong.

Orbis is a non-profit that works all over the world to help resort sight to those blinded by disease, poor healthcare and poverty.

The Orbis Flying Eye Hospital is literally a flying hospital. It's a jumbo jet with a gutted interior filled with a classroom, an audio-visual room, a laser treatment room, an operating room and a recovery room.

They train specialists and educate the public and attempt to develop better healthcare standards through lessons given on the plane.

Jackie said:

"Our eyes are our most valuable possession that we were born with, but for 39 million people on this planet, this precious asset is taken away from them because of poverty, inadequate healthcare facilities or even because of the location they’re in.

As long as each and every one of us does a little something, we can help them see again and start a new life. I hope that you will also support Orbis and help people around the world see light again! So what are you waiting for? Make a donation now and support the ‘Orbis Sight Saving Journey’!"

So great that Jackie took time out of his busy schedule to help those less fortunate.

Though maybe he does have more time since he quit making action movies!

Also, now that they're restoring peoples' vision, they can go see his movies!

It's a win-win!
