Night Shifts Might Increase Breast Cancer Risk

Working the night shift just plain sucks — but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Most people know it's not healthy, but it has been found out that not only does it raise the risk of diabetes and obesity, it also increased your chance of getting breast cancer!
A new study found that women who worked the night shift were four times more likely to develop breast cancer than women who only worked during the day.
Even after adjusting for other factors like menopause, having kids and sunbathing, the scientists still found working nights increased breast cancer risk 40%!
A possible explanation is that nighttime workers don't get much sun exposure so they're deficient in vitamin D!
Gotta have that D! We love the D!
So people can take a vitamin D supplement to help, but the best thing you can do??
Switch shifts!
