High Night For Kings, Low Night In Ratings

STanley Cup Ratings

The L.A. Kings may have won the Stanley Cup, but they certainly didn't win the TV ratings.

Bummer!

NBC aired the match up, and the 8 – 11 PM live hockey game was down 20% from last year’s June 13 Game 6 between the Boston Bruins and the Vancouver Canucks in Boston.

Even more of a bummer is that makes the win the lowest-rated game ender for the Stanley Cup since the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Edmonton Oilers in 2006 — something people probably don't even remember happening.

So what's the deal? Was it the massive lead that the Kings had right off the bat, or did the rest of nation just not care as much as L.A. and Jersey??

Did U watch?
