Won't they just leave poor Lancey alone?
Lance Armstrong is being brought up on doping charges by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency!
And he had just said he was done talking about cheating allegations!
Blood doping is where an athlete ups the number of red blood cells in their body because red blood cells carry oxygen to their muscles. The more red cells, the longer an athlete can work their muscles.
This is done thorough hormonal therapy, or literally injecting the red blood cells of a donor or even using their own cells that they had frozen months earlier.
Federal prosecutors just closed a two-year criminal investigation of him without indicting him with any charges.
"I have never doped, and, unlike many of my accusers, I have competed as an endurance athlete for 25 years with no spike in performance, passed more than 500 drug tests and never failed one."
He faces a potential lifetime ban from cycling if found guilty.
Though he retired last year… so we guess he'll just get an asterisk in record books and be labeled a cheater?
We don't think he did it, we're pretty sure he's just a super human and everyone is jealous.
