Boy From Darth Vader VW Super Bowl Commercial Is Fine After Heart Surgery!
Max Page, the 7-year-old boy who played Darth Vader in that highlarious Volkswagen Super Bowl commercial just had open heart surgery!
Max's doctor said:
"The surgery went very well. Max is in the cardiac ICU and recovering very well."
He will be in the hospital a few more days before being released to his home for his 6 week recovery.
He was born with a congenital heart defect and needed a new pulmonary valve. The operation went well and his new valve should last him 10 to 15 years.
Max's mom said:
"Max wanted to hold his brother's hand and Max said, 'It's okay, I'm not scared.' He just wanted to hold our hands and his stuffed animals. He went in much calmer than we were."
What a brave little guy!
