Little known fact: if you stop working out like a crazy person after gymnastics, and had been doing, say, 6 day workouts a week, you're going to gain weight back.
FINE, that's not a little known fact. But hey, it shocked Shawn Johnson just how EASY it was!
Here's what she said about it:
"I was just going through so many different life changes. I was traveling so much, I didn't get the opportunity to work out. I thought I could do and eat whatever I wanted because I was fit."
This might worry you because she just retired from gymnastics a few days ago.
"I'm sure it's not going to happen again. I'm going to try to work really hard and make sure of that. I feel like I'm mentally in a different place so I know how it all works. I'm trying to relax a little bit. It's the first days of relaxation I've had in a few years.
"I'm happy, on my way to getting healthy again. Having that stress off me is definitely liberating."
Well, we think you've earned not having to go nuts over it. The best part about not being in the Olympics is that you don't have to be in Olympic shape.
That being said, we do think staying in a little bit of shape is a good idea!
