Dude Doctors Make $12,000 More Annually Than Lady Ones!

This is some bullshizz, guys!

According to a new study, male doctors make about $12,000 MORE than female doctors!

This is even adjusted for differences in specialties, work hours and academic rank — and amounts to more than $350,000 in the course of a career.

Here's what one of the study's authors said:

"With increased participation of women in medicine, I suspect that conscious discrimination is probably less likely to be a robust explanation for much of the differences in salary. Instead, I think that an important reason for the difference may be unconscious gender bias."

Not cool.

With student loans approaching $250k and having to be working on paying that back forever, there's a constant need to be paid the maximum of what you should be.

And just because you have a different sex doesn't mean you should get a different pay for the same work!

"A lot more advocacy needs to be done in this area. This means not just propelling women into higher ranks and leadership positions, but also putting our money where our mouth is, paying women their worth."

Amen!
