A bamboo steamer is essential for Fit cooking at home; it produces more flavorful food without added fat or calories, and retains vitamins and minerals. Bamboo steamers come in many sizes and have several steaming sections - allowing you to cook multiple foods at once. To use, place the steamer in a wok (or pan of water) on high heat. Place portions of meat like chicken or salmon on the bottom section, and a variety of vegetables on top. Cook for about 7 minutes, or until meat is done. Experiment with different spices and fresh citrus juice for seasoning, and enjoy!
