When you suffer from panic attacks, what's the best way to get over them?
Get baked! Bake!
According to Emma Stone at least.
Emma recently admitted that she was always an anxious kid, who would alleviate her anxiety through comedy.
"It gave me a sense of purpose. I wanted to make people laugh. Comedy was my sport. It taught me how to roll with the punches. Failure is the exact same as success when it comes to comedy because it just keeps coming. It never stops."
She started having panic attacks at age 8 and has had one as recently as when she was filming the Dirty Dancing lift with Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid, Love.
So to keep calm during The Amazing Spider-Man she started baking.
"I think I felt really out of control of my surroundings. I was just baking all the time. There were stacks of things in the kitchen that nobody could possibly go through. It seemed like it made me feel, if I put these in, I'll know what the outcome is. I was over-baking."
Ha! That is so funny.
At least she found a good coping mechanism and the cast and crew of her films were full of delicious desserts and pastries!
