Dottie Sandusky, Jerry Sandusky's wife, finally took the stand in his defense.
She initially focused on backstory, how she and her husband met.
She had stood by her hubby, posting his bail and staying by his side while he would go to and from the courthouse.
Then the defense brought out a psychologist who said in their professional opion that Sandusky has histrionic personality disorder which is a:
"[…] condition in which people act in a very emotional and dramatic way that draws attention to themselves."
The psychologist came to this conclusion after reviewing creepy love letters and interviewing Sandusky for 6 hours.
A neighbor of victim 1 was later called to testify that the victim and his mom were in it for the money.
Of the victim's mother, he said:
"She asked, 'How do I find out if someone is a registered sex offender?' I said 'Why' [she said] 'I just heard that [Victim 1] was touched by Jerry Sandusky and I want to find out how to take this further.'"
He then spoke of how she said "I'll own his house" and even her son, victim 1, said "when all this is over I will have a nice, new Jeep."
Though once he was cross-examined by the prosecution he did say that he thought the mother was a bad person and didn't like her.
Which kinda just threw out his credibility.
We feel the defense's case is pretty weak compared to the prosecution's.
Guess that'll be up to the jury.
