Have you ever heard the story about the time that Jessica Alba ate an entire family of cows when she was 14??
NOPE. Because she was a vegetarian (and probably wouldn't have survived the process…)!
Jessica actually grew up in an overweight family, and didn't want to fall into the same trap.
Here's what she said:
“I was aware at a very young about the importance of eating healthy. I became a vegetarian at 12 until the age of 16. So I was cooking my own meals, different from the rest of the family."
That's super interesting that someone so young could make a decision like that, and totally go through with it!
She's not a vegetarian anymore, but she still knows the importance of organic, preservative-free foods, for herself and her family.
Even her daughter is eating very healthy:
“All of her pasta is spelt or quinoa. It’s been a way to introduce protein in her diet, and she only drinks almond milk that has no sugar in it. And everything is organic.”
Though, we hope she doesn't grow up doing the opposite — bucking the healthy system for an unhealthy one!
JK! That probably won't happen. You're such a wonderful mother and we bet she'll turn out to be an amazing person — health and all!
Lookin' fab, Jessica!
