Phillip Phillips Surgery Recovery Has Him Going Crazy

Phillip Phillips has had to deal with extreme pain all through the American Idol competition.

He recently finally had surgery to help get rid of the giant kidney stones that have been plaguing him for so long.

Now he's at home, recovering — and it's starting to get to him.

He said:

"I still love to sleep, but it's been kind of hectic. I've kind of been going crazy just looking at the four walls surrounding me."

He's finally able to pick up a guitar again, but that's really about all he can manage at this point in his recovery.

"I haven't been able to do anything too much. I've just been laying in the bed [and have had] a couple nice dinners, but actually I haven't been able to do anything. I've just been resting and recovering."

He's just sitting around, waiting for his body to heal so he can go hit his country-wide Idol tour!

"I'm pretty confident. I'm just going to have fun with it… It's going to go well, I believe."

We know you'll do great!

Just concentrate on healing up so you can rock everyone this summer!
