This is crazy.
The jury in the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse trial has been sequestered as they deliberate.
That means they have no contact with the outside world.
Which means they know nothing about the crazy situation that unfolded yesterday when Jerry Sandusky's adopted son, Matt Sandusky, said he too was abused by his father.
We're sure that would greatly affect their decision. We wonder why he waited until just after the trial to come clean?
We're sure it must've been incredibly hard to come forward and admit that but if only he had done it a day earlier, it would have been a great blow to the defense.
The jury has asked to rehear testimony from two witnesses. One who said he saw Sandusky assaulting a child in the shower and another who said that the man told him a different story of the shower incident.
We also heard a little more of each side's closing statements.
The defense had said:
"The system decided Mr. Sandusky was guilty and the system set out to convict him."
While the prosecution stayed strong, convinced Sanduksy was 110% guilty, saying:
"I feel like I have 10 pieces of 10 souls in my body — childhoods ravaged, memories destroyed, incinerated by this pedophile…"
We're really innerested to see what the jury decides but we're even more anxious about what's gonna happen once the jury hears about the Matt Sandusky accusations!
