Olive Garden And Red Lobster Struggle Financially

Darden Restaurants Inc. is the parent company of Olive Garden and Red Lobster.
The restaurants apparently are both struggling financially and trying to revive sales.
They're reworking their menus and changing up their prices to try and get more customers.
The company's CEO said:
"We're making progress on our efforts to elevate the guest experience at Olive Garden, and over the next 12 months guests will see more and more of the improved food, service, value and advertising we've been developing."
They blame their decline in sales on their focus on new menu items instead of wallet friendly pricing in a time when people are really watching their budgets.
Red Lobster recently upped the price of their Festival of Shrimp by $1 and even that was too much for many people.
Hopefully they realize people want tasty food at decent prices, not crazy fancy food and expensive ad campaigns.
Also, healthier inexpensive options couldn't hurt.
