Okay, before WE even learn why, we're going to guess that it had something to do with portion control, exercise, and NOT eating the stuff Paula Deen's been pushing on her viewers for years (the same stuff that gave her type 2 diabetes).
Let's see if we're right.
Here's what she said:
"I do think differently now. I'm more aware. It took me a couple of years to get to this point. If you make a few small changes, they can add up to big results."
She revealed that she's not going nuts on mashed potatoes anymore, and has swapped out giant sticks of butter for greek salads and baked fish.
It's resulted in a 30 pound weight loss.
You don't say!
We were pretty much right, however there was no mention of exercise.
We're glad you're healthier, Paula, but we think about all those people you continued on the path to diabetes with your show (even though you knew it was wrong and that you had it for years), and we can't get too happy for something you should've done all along.
