Cubs Sweep The Astros!

The Chicago Cubs have swept the Houston Astros!

Travis Wood, the Cubs' left-handed pitcher (who bats righty) threw several shutout innings and led the Cubs to a 3-0 victory, sweeping the Astros.

In his last two wins, Wood only allowed eight hits and walked only one guy in 14 2/3 innings.

He said:

"I'm so relaxed out there and things keep rolling into place."

Wow, he's so cool under pressure. Sounds like a champ in the making!

Best part?

Wood also scored the winning run!

He hit a double in the sixth inning and after Starlin Castro was intentionally walked, Anthony Rizzo hit a single that sent Wood home!

Sounds like it was a great game!
