As Tim Tebow prepares to make his debut as a New York Jet this season, it looks like he's learning new ways to defend himself from the defensive line too!
The NFL fan favorate has been learning Brazilian jiu-jitsu with a family of UFC legends known as the Gracies. The patriarch, Helio Gracie, developed a specialized version of the fighting style which Royce Gracie has been using to beat down opponents in the cage.
Now the Gracie boys are sharing their wisdom with Tebow in Torrance, California where he's training with Ryron Gracie and UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub.
Ryron tweeted a pic (above) with the QB after completing a workout and complimented his pupil by saying, "Your athleticism/intelligence makes teaching Jiu jitsu even easier!"
We're glad to hear Tebow is challenging himself with a new workout, but really hope he's being careful. An injury is the last thing his career needs because this should be the year he proves all his doubters wrong.
