There were SIX cases of it alone in a Providence, R.I. hospital that occurred between March 2011 and June 2012.
The CDC is warning doctors that the bristles are small and can be tough to see on X-rays and scans, SO THEY NEED TO FOCUS!
The major problem here is that the CDC doesn't know which brands to look out for, and which won't try and literally spike your meat.
So, just make sure you're knocking everything off before you put your meat on the heat, ya heard??
Oh, you're much more likely to get sick from eating undercooked meat or food poisoning, too. So… good luck with that!
