Steve Nash Traded To The Lakers
Steve Nash, basketballer extraordinaire, recently decided to leave his beloved Phoenix Suns to move to their rival… the Los Angeles Lakers!
The 38-year-old two-time MVP point guard said that he talked to Kobe Bryant on the phone to confirm that he wanted to work with him.
Nash said Bryant said the two of them would be a great fit in the Lakers' backcourt.
He said why he really wanted to come to El Lay was to be closer to his children and an NBA title.
What a good dad!
Apparently all the Lakers are excited to be getting Nash. One of which is Pau Gasol who had nothing but good things to say about the trade on Twitter.
Let's hope Nash keeps on tearing up the court, because this is a huge trade and he's closing in on 40!
