Robot Walks Like A Human, Humans Immediately Surrender
We really thought we had a few good years left before our robot overlords took over, but we were wrong.
This is a video from researchers at University of Arizona, who have created a set of robotic legs that mimic a real human gait.
Faaaaaantastic!
Apparently its the most biologically accurate model of human walking ever created, and 100% terrifying.
All it took was a computerized version of the neural network that humans use to move, called the central pattern generator, or CPG, and a full tank of Nightmare Fuel.
They claim the robot will help them better understand human movement — how babies first learn to walk or how spinal-cord-injury patients may regain their walking capabilities through spinal cord stimulation.
But we know the true end-game: humanity's capitulation to robots.
Looks like the University of Arizona is where Skynet engineers studied!
