They wouldn't back off, so Lance Armstrong is bringing the fight to them.
Lance has filed a federal lawsuit, trying to prevent the USADA from moving ahead with charges that he used performance-enhancing drugs during his record-setting career.
Which, if you asks us, totally sounds like a witch hunt.
So what does the lawsuit claim?
It claims that the USADA rules violate athletes’ constitutional right to a fair trial. Plus, that the agency doesn’t even have jurisdiction in his case.
And of course, the witch hunt we were talking about is brought up and the lawsuit also accuses USADA’s chief executive, Travis Tygart, of waging a personal vendetta against him.
The USADA is confident the judge will uphold their investigation.
We really hope you're right, Lance! You've been such an inspiration!
