We were worried a little bit there, not knowing whether or not Apple decided to stop being environmentally friendly completely.
But not like a "whoops, we hit the wrong button" kind of mistake, but rather the kind where they heard how upset their customers were about it — even though they said they were withdrawing the products from the list on June 29th, and did not plan to submit products for ratings in the future.
Hell, even the city of San Francisco said it would stop buying Apple computers!
They've backtracked now.
They said their eligible products are back on the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool registry, and says it looks forward to working with EPEAT, the nonprofit organization that runs the registry.
All is well that ends well!
