Over 30 Penn State football players said that they're planning on staying right where they are.
Two Penn State football seniors, Michael Mauti and Michael Zordich, vowed to restore Penn State to greatness:
"We want to let the nation know that we're proud of who we are. We're the true Penn Staters, and we're going to stick together through this. We're going to see this thing through, and we're going to do everything we can for the university. We know it's not going to be easy, but we know what we're made of."
Not only did the NCAA take away their chance at a bowl game, but they also really cut down their number of scholarships.
That means it'll be really hard for Penn State to attract new prospects.
Who wants to play on a team that can't even have a chance at the glory of a bowl game?
We think it's really inspiring and honorable of these guys to stick with their school.
