U.S. Wrestler Sweeps Michelle Obama Off Her Feet… Literally!

We've all heard about the Olympic Village being described as a "sex haven."

So we'd guess it'd be a great place for people to pick up women… though one Olympian took it literally!

U.S. wrestler Elena Pirozhkova literally swept Michelle Obama off her feet when they first met!

Elena, 25, wanted to do something special when meeting the first lady; a hug wouldn't be enough.

She said:

"Even before she made the rounds I thought I can't just hug her like everybody else. I hugged her, and then I asked her if I could pick her up. I think she was nervous. I went slow. I just picked her up. I wanted to ask her permission. There was security all around. And she gave it. I will only meet her once. I wanted to do something different."

Well she certainly got MObama's attention.

Luckily, her teammate Clarissa Chun was there to snap a pic and posted it to her Twitter then wrote:

"Elena picked up the First Lady"

So funny!

Def a memorable moment.

Way to be a team player and let a wrestler throw you around, Michelle!

That's what we call team spirit!
