Did you know the Olympics were going on?
In fact, there were quite a few people shut in this weekend, eyes glued to humans being physically amazing.
ALL THINGS SWIMMING
Even though Michael Phelps under performed the other day, not even placing in the 400 IM, he brought his A-game to the 4×100 relay.
In fact, it was almost as if he and Lochte switched places — Phelps did way better, and Ryan ended up choking as the anchor.
THAT OPENING CEREMONY
It broke records — mostly for being "super weird," but also in the amount of viewers.
SPEAKING OF RECORD BREAKERS
Swimmer Dana Vollmer is a badass. She broke the 100m butterfly world record — finishing in 55.98 seconds.
The U.S. has earned 11 medals so far — 3 gold, 5 silver, 3 bronze. China has the most medals with 12.
Jordyn Wieber was a crowd favorite, and a favorite to win us tons of gold this year. Sadly, she didn't place in the finals, while Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas did.
That sucks, Jordyn. America still loves you anyway!
Have U been watching??
