Titans Player O.J. Murdock Dead In Apparent Suicide

This is just awful.
A football player for the Titans has been found dead in an apparent suicide.
O.J. Murdock was a reserve receiver for the Tennessee team, and was found inside his car Monday morning with what appeared to be self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
Furthering the sadness of it all, the car was parked in front of Middleton High School, where he went to school.
He also didn't report to training camp over the weekend because of a 'personal issue.'
Here's what his team said:
"We are shocked and saddened to hear of O.J. Murdock's death this morning. In his brief time here, a number of our players, coaches and staff had grown close to O.J., and this is a difficult time for them. He spent the last year battling back from an Achilles injury as he prepared for this year's training camp. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as they try to cope with this tragedy."
Such a terrible loss.
Suicide is never the answer, and we can only keep his friends and family in our thoughts during such a horrible time.
If you or anyone you know is thinking about such a drastic decision, make sure they get help, visit the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline to find out how.
