Why is it that South Korea gets all the coolest things?
Mashed potato vending machines. Samsung. Dunkin Donuts ads on the radio that emit a coffee scent.
They call it Dunkin Donuts Flavor Radio!
As part of a campaign in South Korea, Dunkies installed scent spraying modules in Seoul public transit that would spray Dunkin Donuts coffee scent every time the chain's jingle played on the radio.
The question is, if the ad accidentally played over and over, would it be the best thing ever… or would the bus fill with dangerous (yet delicious) coffee scents??
And guess what?
It works. They saw a 29% spike during the campaign!
