This is at least some good news!
As a collective, the cholesterol levels of the average kid are dropping!
Though childhood obesity rates remain unchanged.
So even though kids might still be eating too much and eating crap food, junk food is getting less unhealthy every day.
The study focused on over 16,000 children over the course of several years, between 1988-94, 1999-2002 and 2007-10.
So it's a pretty good sample size, and a good indicator that at least one aspect of our nations' children's health is improving.
Whatever the true cause, it's even affecting adults too because their cholesterol has dropped almost 27% in the past ten years.
This doesn't mean you can go out and eat a whole bucket of cholesterol, it's just data.
Stay away from junk food!
