Hope Solo has a new book out, Solo: A Memoir of Hope, and in it, she makes some accusations against her former DWTS partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
She claimed that during a Season 11 rehearsal, Maksim "slapped [her] hard" on the face when trying to correct one of her dance moves.
"He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly. I thought that was just how it went — how dancers worked with each other. But it kept getting worse. One day, Maks was trying to put me in a certain position and hit my stomach so hard with his open palm that I had a red handprint there for the rest of the day."
Whoa! We can understand having passion for your art and being an intense person but hitting is NOT cool!
She said ABC at least understood and said she could dance with a new partner but she "didn't want to end Maks' career."
Maksim only responded possibly though his Twitter when he recently wrote:
"Always hated hypocrites and liars, but when someone is both and an opportunist, I just feel bad for them. Can't win at someone's expense."
So clearly he thinks she's a liar and just wanted something to look good in her book.
We're gonna have to side with Hope on this one, though.
You should NEVER hit a woman!
