Shaun White Prepping For Winter Olympics!

Here we come, 2014!!
Just weeks after we rapped up the London 2012 Olympic Games, we're already hearing about athletes prepping for the next set of competitions under those rings — the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics!
Specifically, snowboarder and avid skateboarder, Shaun White!
Apparently he usually picks up skateboarding when it's not winter, which would make sense… except his knee was giving him problems this year:
"This season was strange because I had an old injury that came — a small tear in the meniscus — which is the soft tissue, soft cartilage in between the two bones in your knee. It's just a bummer."
He even had to make the call to get surgery:
"It was a tough decision to make, but I went for it and I'm glad I did. I did have a decent-sized tear in there and I'm glad that it's fixed up and I'm hoping to be recovered sooner rather than later."
We hope you recover soon, too!
Shaun, we LOVE watching you do your thang during the Winter Olympics — it just wouldn't be the same without you.
We're not afraid though! We know you'll be there!
Good luck training!!
