Kathy Bates recently opened up about surviving ovarian cancer nine years ago.
It was a tough battle but she pulled through.
Then she had to fight another battle, against breast cancer after being diagnosed several weeks ago.
"After much consideration, I underwent a double mastectomy. Luckily, I don't have to undergo radiation or chemo. My family call me Kat because I always land on my feet and thankfully this is no exception."
So they must've gotten the whole cancer tumor and it hadn't metastasized to anywhere else in her body.
That must've been an impossibly tough choice but at least she's cancer free.
"My doctors have assured me I'm going to be around for a long time. I'm looking forward to getting back to work doing what I love to do."
We're so glad she's alright!
We wish you a speedy and full recovery!
