Do you know the answer?
Around here, we're usually giving advice what to eat, what not to eat, and fitness tips — we aren't usually focusing on when to eat.
The fact of the matter is, it's almost just as important!
That makes sense, as we've all had our minds burned with the "3 square meals" idea. Anything less than 3 and poor appetite control becomes an issue.
Here's one author's suggestion:
Planning and eating consistent meals can help maintain a steady blood sugar, which will in turn allow you to make better choices, avoid temptations and feel more energetic.
That means you should avoid things that will trigger huge spikes in your blood sugar. Like candy. Cookies. Chips.
Stopping your meals is another thing, but the general idea is that you should cut yourself off about two hours before bed time. So it doesn't matter if you eat something after 7 if you go to bed at 1 am!
Just make sure you start eating when you’re hungry, not starving. Then eat until you’re satisfied, not stuffed — and take your time!
Let your body know when it's full!
