Add another one to the list — the ninth sick person to stay at Yosemite National Park has been confirmed to have hantavirus.
This comes right on the heels of park officials expanding their notifications of the outbreak to 230,000 guests of the park who had stayed overnight since June.
People are pissed, understandably, about the park's effort to warn them.
Here's how the park responded:
"In the last 100 years, we've literally only had two cases aside from this cluster of eight. It wasn't something that Public Health thought was a major problem and it wasn't something that the park thought was a major problem."
You dropped the ball, regardless.
Even the smallest of cases should warrant a warning.
