Ripping on someone for their health and their weight is NOT constructive. People need positivity to reach their goals, and we can't even imagine how hard it is for Jessica Simpson to get flak from all angles, regardless of the fact that she JUST had a baby 4.5 months ago!
You can look at her and think she's not doing much, but you don't know what she's doing behind closed doors — and the fact is, she's already lost about half of the weight she gained (down 40 of 80 pounds!)!
That's progress, and to us, it's much healthier to lose the weight at a pace like that instead of all at once anyway!
Still, people are malicious about it.
Here's what a source says about how this makes her feel:
"For years, Jessica has been okay with her body and everyone loved her for that. But now she's not feeling the love and she doesn't like it. She's trying to conceal her hurt feelings with humour right now. She uses jokes and goofiness to hide the fact that she's really sensitive."
Everybody's body is different, especially when it comes to handling pregnancy weight.
We aren't worried for her one bit — not only do we know she has the willpower to do this, but she has a huge payday waiting for her at the end!
