This is incredibly sad!
Last night, former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital after experiencing a shortness of breath.
According to spokesman Jim McGrath, George W. Bush's father:

If you're thinking about buying your kid a trampoline because you haven't heard much about them in a while and might have forgotten how they're death traps, you might wanna put away your credit card.
Pediatricians are now being very adamant about how dangerous they are for kids!
Emergency departments across the country see nearly 100,000 injuries from them each year, even if you aren't hearing about every single one.
But what about all those safety precautions that manufacturers have been making?
Here's what one doctor said:
"As best we can tell, the addition of safety nets and padding has actually not changed the injuries we have seen. Even though there has been a decrease in injuries. I caution people against taking that too literally because the number of trampolines has also decreased."
Try again, tramps!
We figure the decrease in injuries is probably because trampolines are so 90's.
Also, we don't want you to think that injuries are only happening to kids — adults are prone too. In fact, most injuries happen when two or more people are on the mat, one of them being an adult!
About one in 200 trampoline injuries lead to permanent neurologic damage, too!
One person at a time. Sufficient padding on edges and springs. Proper training. Don't get one.
The choice is yours!
