At what point do you swallow your pride and admit your mistake??
The NFL has decided to come out and say that they SUPPORT what's being called the worst call in NFL history, and that the touchdown that wasn't a touchdown at all still stands!
Regardless of the fact that they're wrong, this decision is going to make those already unhappy about the ref lockout even unhappier!
"If you're holding your baby & I walk up and hug it, according to the NFL replacement refs, you have to give me your baby. #MNF [Green Bay]"
"I would love to see what my reaction would be if a Mavs game ended like #MNF. #Expensive #NBAtime
President Barack Obama:
"NFL fans on both sides of the aisle hope the refs' lockout is settled soon."
"Bad day to be a replacement ref SMH."
"These replacement refs gotta go man!! Packers just got game took from them. I LOVE NFL football to much to see this type of work. I simply just LOVE the NFL to much to see these mistakes. I'm sick like I just played for the Packers."
"So the NFL with replacement refs is now like a card game with Jokers included as wild cards - every 10 plays or so it just makes no sense"
James Van Der Beek:
"OK, @NFLCommish Roger Goodell tried to play hardball w/ the refs. He's clearly lost. Or has he? Replacement refs are signaling touchdown."
"'Replacement Refs!' It writes itself!" — every sh–ty screenwriter in every L.A. Starbucks right now."
Eloquently put, LeBron… LOLz.
Anyway, regardless of the NFL wussin' out over this to protect their decision to bring in replacement refs during the lock out, everybody knows it as technically a Packer's win.
We wonder what it feels like to be that ref, though!
Probs not good. Ha!
