Of course, nobody is citing it specifically, but we all know that both the NFL and the NFLRA are back at the negotiating table after the Green Bay/Seattle game last night, which resulted in the 'worst call in NFL history.'
This means that one of the sides will have to concede on the new pension plan that's more like a 401k, and/or the plan to add three more ref crews to:
"reduce stress on the officials by allowing each official to work fewer games, reduce travel, allow us to do more intensive training, integrate younger officials more effectively, increase diversity, and improve quality of officiating."
Of course, the NFLRA don't want either of those (and it's muuuuuuch more complicated than those two issues) but there might have to be a compromise soon, or else the fans might lose their minds!
We'll keep you updated on the outcome, if any!
