Two men are accused of lying to a grand jury about Jerry Sandusky sexually abusing children, and a judge has just thrown out the motion to dismiss those charges.
The motions came from former vice president Gary Schultz and athletic director Tim Curley, and would've thrown out the count of perjury against each man.
The men are also arguing against the other count against them, which stems from not reporting the abuse — the duo maintain that the statue of limitations has expired… which regardless of if it has or not, using that excuse makes us feel like they're saying, "Yeah, we're guilty, but…"
The judge said prosecutors have given the defendants sufficient information about which parts of their grand jury testimony make up the perjury allegation, so they can't keep acting like there wasn't enough there to bring the charges.
Jury selection is expected to start in Jan.
