From the way Bette Midler is pushing for you to get a full length mirror or 'get fat,' we half expect her to come out and say that she's the new spokesperson for a mirror company.
It's true, she thinks people who do not own a full length mirror are fat.
Here's what she said:
”You should be very careful about who does your mani-pedi, because you can really screw your toes up. You should stop beating your hair into submission, even if you don't like it. Everyone should exfoliate, every day, even guys.
”More than two drinks a day will ruin your skin. And if you don't have a full-length mirror, you're going to get fat. Period.”
Bette just graduated from the University of Life with a master's degree in Facts, apparently.
If you don't want to be fat, it has nothing to do with a mirror — and we think this will lead to people becoming obsessed with their body image.
That's NOT a good thing. We really don't think she should be pushing self analysis like this.
Just eat healthy, in moderation, and stay active. No mirror in the world can give you what.
