Last Saturday, the Global Poverty Project hosted the Global Citizen Festival on the Great Lawn of Central Park in NYC.

All sorts of artists performed including Neil Young with Crazy Horse, the Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Band of Horses, K’naan and John Legend.

Through their supporting non-profits partners, the festival announced $1,314,700,000 in commitments that will go to support anti-poverty initiatives!

That's an unbelievable amount!

We're so glad the festival was such a huge success!

Check out the video (above) to hear Dave Grohl, of the Foo Fighters, and Hugh Evans, CEO and co-founder of The Global Poverty Project, thank everyone who helped them get over a billion dollars of support!
