Two Men Banned From All-You-Can-Eat Buffet For Eating Too Much!!
This seems pretty hypocritical!
An all-you-can-eat buffet in England has actually banned two of its regulars for coming in and always eating too much!
George Dalmon, 26, and Andy Miles, 25, were banned from eating at Gobi, a Mongolian Barbecue buffet in Brighton, England.
They were banned after the manager called them "a couple of pigs."
He said:
"Basically they just come in and pig out. We have put up with them for two years but I've had enough."
At first we were all up in arms, because this is ridiculous.
How does an all-you-can-eat buffet ban someone for eating too much??
Then the manager said that they never tip or get anything other than the water and the $20 buffet.
He continued:
"We are not a charity, we're a business. It's our restaurant and we can tell people not to come back if we don't want them to."
Hmm. Not tipping isn't cool. So now we're conflicted.
The banned George Dalmon said:
"They’ve only got small bowls and you can’t get enough in there so we always go back for more."
Also seems like they were exploiting a loophole, but can you really blame them?
Were they really eating over $20 worth of food every time for two years??
Either way, we're sure they'll find somewhere else to eat but we're still not sure if this is fair or not.
