NASCAR and Fox have announced a new eight-year, $2.4 BILLION extension!
The extension will run through 2022, keeping the Daytona 500 on Fox, with the new deal starting in 2015.
That $300 million a year fee is a 33% increase over what Fox had been paying.
We guess the other networks were trying to muscle in on that race car money, but Fox just kept throwing stacks of cash at NASCAR.
All that money also allows Fox TV Everywhere rights, which means they can live stream races starting with the 2013 season-opening Daytona 500.
Fox still has to share some of the races with ESPN and Turner though.
Looks like NASCAR is cleaning up on this deal!
