Tim Tebow: Running Back??
Why in the world would the Jets actually do this?
Tim Tebow might become a running back for the NY team this Sunday against the New England Patriots to help the running backs that could be without the injured Joe McKnight and Bilal Powell.
Inspired, but ultimately stupid. Nothing against Tebow (he still hands out plenty of Tebowners), but we're pretty sure they didn't hire him to get hurt immediately.
"That's a possibility. The thing about Tim, with him being a football player like we've always talked about, by playing quarterback he knows all the positions. So can you plug him in at running back? Can you plug him in at tight end? I think the answer is yes. You start with his skill set, but his skill set would be more based on power. He's not going to be a blazer compared to other running backs. He's got power."
Weirdly enough, it wouldn't be the first time he's done this — but before he has done it only as a blocker.
We wonder if they're actually crazy enough to do this!
Probably not — do they really want to hurt their expensive back-up QB?
