We just previously mentioned that the NHLPA declined the NHL's 50-50 revenue split offer and the NHL turned down all their counter-offers.
So the NHL has canceled 135 games through November 1st.
That's 11% of the season!
This is the NHL's third lockout since 1994, with the last one being when the '04-'05 season was completely called off.
This is getting ridiculous.
The NHL acts like they wanna get in a full season, and the NHLPA obviously want the players to be able to play but both sides are being so dang stubborn!
There aren't even any more meetings scheduled between the two sides.
So we have no idea what's gonna happen.
Though it feels a lot like the Stanley Cup might go unawarded again.
Sorry, hockey fans.
