Ex-NFL Star Jamal Lewis Cleared In Child Abandonment Case
The child abandonment case against ex-NFL star Jamal Lewis has been dropped by prosecutors in Georgia.
Hear that? That's the sound of Jamal wiping the sweat from his brow.
Jamal was arrested back in August for child abandonment because he allegedly stopped his child support payments for a kid he fathered in 2005.
He said it was a misunderstanding and wanted to:
"work toward an arrangement within the court system that will allow me to effectively co-parent my son."
So did the prosecutors believe this? Nope, they dropped it because they didn't believe there was enough evidence to get a conviction.
