Tony Romo lead the Dallas Cowboys to a 29-24 loss against the New York Giants this past Sunday.
Within the first 16 minutes, Romo threw three interceptions, putting them down 23 points.
The fans obviously turned on him and started booing.
"I would have booed us, too. We deserved it that time. We did not start the game the way we wanted to."
Ha! At least he's honest!
As a veteran QB, he's learned to deal with the crowd, mostly tuning them out.
He did praise fans for cheering his team as they mounted their unsuccessful comeback, saying:
"Obviously, they were great today with the way they brought energy. They helped our defense tremendously. That was as good a home-field crowd as I have been a part of. That's exciting to have that going forward. We just need to do a couple of things better earlier in the football game. We didn't do a good job."
Wow. What a humble guy.
That's rare for an athlete!
Way to be a good sport, Tony!
